How do I measure an area?

Search for your address or scroll the satellite map to your land, then tap the map to drop a corner at each bend of the boundary. After three corners the area and perimeter appear and update live as you add or drag points, and you can switch between acres, square feet, hectares and square meters at any time. To exclude a pond or building, add a cutout inside the shape. In the iPhone app you can also walk the boundary and let GPS drop the points for you.

How do I restore purchases in the app?

Open Field Area Measure Map, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you originally subscribed with. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, so reinstalling the app or moving to a new iPhone never loses it — restoring just re-links it. If Pro still shows as locked after restoring, email us and we'll sort it out.

How do I report an imagery problem?

Satellite imagery comes from Esri's World Imagery service, and in some areas it can be outdated, cloudy or slightly misaligned. Email us the location (an address or latitude/longitude) and a screenshot of what looks wrong, and we'll investigate whether it's an imagery issue or a measuring bug. We can't refresh Esri's imagery ourselves, but misalignment reports help us confirm the tool is measuring correctly.
